At the Operations department in Rotterdam, we are looking for a: Vessels planner / Operational coordinator (full-time)
Job description
- Coordinating cargo flows
- Planning/arranging cargo on vessels
- Liaising with agents worldwide
- Coordinating with captains, terminals and other lines
- Safely stow hazardous cargo
- Administrative handling of vessels
Profile
- You have a higher professional education level and a completed maritime education
- Demonstrable experience as container transport ocean freight planner
- You are collegial and at the same time able to work independently
- You have strong analytical skills
- You are in possession of your own transport
- Good command of the English language, Dutch is a plus but not an absolute necessity
- You are able to think in terms of possibilities and solutions
- Furthermore, you have commercial insight, are proactive and have a flexible attitude
- You are a resident in the Netherlands
