About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager Marketing & Communications to join our team at the Rotterdam head office. As Manager Marketing & Communications, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives brand awareness, lead generation, and revenue growth. You will work closely with the senior management to ensure that our marketing initiatives are aligned with our company’s goals and objectives.

Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives brand awareness, lead generation, and revenue growth.
  • Design and maintain a consistent brand identity and message across all marketing channels and materials.
  • Collaborate with other departments, international offices and agents to ensure marketing activities align with company goals.
  • Identify new marketing opportunities and stay up-to-date with industry trends & best practices.
  • Develop and implement content marketing (e.g., intranet, press releases & interviews, client advisories), website, social media (incl. Google My Business), email marketing, and advertising campaigns.
  • Oversee the creation and manage high-quality marketing collateral, such as brochures, presentations, infographics, photos, and videos.
  • Plan and execute company participation in trade shows, conferences, client events and sponsorships.
  • Track campaign performance and make recommendations for future initiatives, manage relationships with external suppliers and oversee the marketing budget.

What you bring

  • Proven experience as a Marketing Manager or similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience using marketing tools and platforms, including marketing automation, Google Analytics, and social media advertising platforms.
  • Commercial insight and a flexible attitude.
  • Experience in the maritime industry is preferred.
  • Candidates must be residents of the Netherlands.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Marketing role; preferably as Manager.
  • Excellent knowledge of marketing principles and strategies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and PowerPoint; Adobe is an advantage but not required.
  • Fluency in English & Dutch; Spanish is an advantage but not required.
