At the Rotterdam office, we are looking for a: Customer Service Employee Export (Full-time).
Job description
As a Customer Service Export Employee, you are the point of contact for our customers. You will supervise export shipments from start to finish, monitor the logistics process and be responsible for flawless communication with customers. Your efforts will ensure that our customers experience high-quality service and reinforce the professional image of WEC Lines. You will work closely with colleagues from Line Management, Operations, Capacity and Process Development, among others.
Key responsibilities
- Supervising export shipments from start to finish
- Maintaining customer contact and processing bookings
- Proactively informing customers of any deviations in the transport process
- Administrative processing of customer and shipment data
- Contributing ideas for process improvements and efficiency
Profile
- MBO+ or HBO working and thinking level, preferably STC or logistics-related
- Experience in shipping or container logistics is a strong advantage
- Good command of Dutch and English (German is a plus!)
- You are customer and service-oriented, communicative, proactive and accurate
- You are flexible and a real team player
- Familiar with MS Office, especially Excel
