About the role
As a Claims Assistant – Maritime Shipping, you will support the processing, administration, and handling of cargo and container damage claims. You will act as an intermediary between our headquarters and international agents.
Key tasks and responsibilities
- Processing, administrating, and coordinating claims
- Checking invoices and managing case files
- Communicating with various stakeholders and requesting documentation
- Supporting audits and internal/external inspections
- Handling simple claims and assisting with complex cases
What you bring
- MBO+ work and thinking level, preferably an administrative education
- Fluent Spanish speaker with excellent English proficiency
- Accurate, flexible, stress-resistant, and customer-oriented
- Solution-driven, proactive, and responsible
- Experience in the shipping and/or container logistics sector is a plus
- Familiarity with Word and Excel
